Handel’s Messiah Rocks
An update of the timeless classic, Handel's Messiah Rocks features conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops and LaChanze, J. Robert Spencer and MiG Ayesa. This live concert presentation is the brainchild of Dani Davis and Jason Howland, who, in the time-honored tradition of composers like Mozart, have taken the text and music for the Messiah and contemporized it for modern audiences. The power and majesty of the score are still there, enhanced by a powerful rock band.
