Kristin Klinger
Producer/Editor

A wildly accomplished producer and editor since joining HMS 25 years ago, Kristin has done it all: edited broadcast projects such as HMS’ Emmy Award-winning series The Chicago Dance Project; produced, directed and edited the Emmy-winning documentary Chicago Children’s Choir: Songs On The Road To Freedom (which followed the Choir’s civil rights tour through the southeastern U.S.); and overseen all aspects of productions for The Goodman Theatre, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre, Giordano Dance Chicago and scores more.

Kristin earned a dual degree in Radio/TV and French from Indiana University, where she began her television career at the local PBS affiliate.

Her clients in the arts and entertainment realm stretch from San Francisco to Broadway, with projects encompassing a diverse range of content. If you’ve seen commercials for Broadway in Chicago, Broadway SF and other touring markets, documentary pieces for nonprofit organizations like Shalva, performance and behind-the-scenes pieces for The Dallas Opera and Steppenwolf Theatre Company and TV spots for countless Broadway shows and tours including Harmony, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Book of Mormon, Hello, Dolly!, Hairspray and dozens more… you’ve probably seen Kristin’s handiwork.

Kristin continues to work closely with many dance, theater and music clients in Chicago, and serves on the board of directors of Mordine and Company Dance Theater.
